Q&As
Back to TopQ: How many external sensors can I use and why would I want more than one of them?
A: You can use the one external sensor supplied with the unit plus up to 2 more external sensors – so 3 in total. You might want to put one on an outside window ledge to measure outside temperature, and one in a greenhouse or a child’s bedroom. You can then monitor all three external temperatures from the main unit – with NO wires connecting the sensors to the main unit
Q: Battery power consumption and lifespan?
A: Receiver: 3 x AA batteries – min 12 months use, External sensor: 2 x AAA batteries - min 24 months use
Q: If I use the optional extra mains adaptor do I need any batteries?
A: Yes, but just in the external sensor (2 x AAA batteries)
