Powered by sunlight using a low voltage solar panel (panel and 3metre connector cable both supplied), the oxygenator can be used in any pond or water reservoir and is ideal for providing supplementary oxygenation during the summer months, when pond water becomes hotter and so its ability to hold oxygen is reduced.
How it works: The solar panel converts sunlight into electricity which is used to power the pump; air is pumped down 2 x 2metre tubes to the bottom of the pond and released into the water through porous air-release stones. These porous air-release stones can be fixed in position for optimum performance by accompanying anchor sack. The oxygenator requires no wiring, simply install and enjoy with no on-going running costs.

the oxygenator works well when the sun shines brightrly on the solar panel. its a pity that there is no battery for the panel to chasrge and then the oxygenator would continue to run when the sun is behind the clouds
