Back to TopMilton Keynes
Brilliant, easy to use I had no problems with it at all. Well not quite true I managed to lock the software up twice and had to uninstall and reinstall which was easy. Apart from that no problems. I've converted over 200 slides some nearly 40 years old and can now display them on the television.
Bradford On Avon
Just scanned over 300 slides copied onto phone and printed out at Asda, great quality, put them on DVD looked amazingly good on 38 HDTV
Llandudno
Absolutely thrilled with the performance - clarity, colour, ease of copying and no need for a computer.
Wigan
Very easy to use and better result than I expected
Colwyn Bay
Great bit of kit. Probably not the best colour reproduction nor resolution but satisfactory for the amateur (like me).
Abbots Langley
The scanner worked very well after I had sorted out the driver. The images produced are sharp an the colours look good.
Weybridge

As a 68 year old trying to revive & archive 35mm slides taken while in the R.A.F over 30 years ago,I was amazed at how easy this equipment was to use and what a good job it did
Birmingham
Very pleased with everthing
London
Fab scanner - software freezes every now and then but quality of scanned slides are brilliant!
Nottingham
Only done a quick test. Seems to work fine enough for me to recommend the scanner to a friend.
Bromley
Very simple to operate; good value for money
Milton Keynes
Good exposure pictures scan very well. Poor exposure (too bright or too dark) needs adjustment
Tewkesbury
Some difficulty installing drivers (had to consult Ion helpline). Product appears to work well on low contrast, slightly overexposed slides, less well on high contrast, underexposed slides, as expected at this price. Fine for viewing on computer, may not be sharp enough for digital projection.
Crowthorne
Have now scanned 800 slides - only 2,500 to go. A good product. Simple to use.
Aberystwyth
Easy to set up and use. Impressively fast scanning. The only criticism is that each slide was slightly out of focus - but that could be corrected by editing (Photoshop)
BOLTON
The scanner is easy to use and produces well adjusted images
Mold
After some initial problems with configuration it was sorted by the second technician at ION. Operates well and produces good results
Bury
Found it to be very good with good reproduction of scanned transparencies. Negative films were converted very well. Overall very pleased with it
Lymm
At the time of writing I am still experimenting, however the product is relatively easy to use. Slides copy very well with good colour definition. Colour negatives copy less well and it seems difficult to get good colour reproduction when compared to prints of the same picture. However further experimentation may yeield better results. Overall very satisfied
Portstewart
Very satisfied with the performance of ION slide scanner to date
Chelmsford
Excellent
Westgate on-sea
I purchased the ION scanner and extra holders for my boss's retirement present and she absolutely loves it.
Farnham
Some slides scans do not appear in My Pictures
Reading
Very pleased with the scanner. I feel, however, that the slide holder could do with being a bit more "robust". It's not very easy to open and I think it could easily get broken. So far, so good.
Aberdeen
The product was very good. the problem was that my slides were very old and so I couldn't get the qualith reproduction I wanted.
Bracknell
excellent product
Greenock
Installation was dead easy
Hertford
Although orignally "out of stock" delivery was still excellent.
Worthing
I make a lot of domestic CDs & DVDs from old vinyl records & new mini camcorder tapes. I have converted from 35mm colour slides & super 8mm stereo film. Having travelled a lot I have hundreds of 35mm colour slides to put on disc. I used your unit today to make my first transfer & it seemed to work well. Only 799 more slides to go & I hope it can stand the pace. Your order & delivery service worked well & it seems like a well made piece of equipment, but time will tell. I have to say that so far your company has been a pleasure to work with & I appreciate your after sales interest. Not experienced with a lot of companys. So thanks for asking & I will let you know of any problems.

Torquay
I did not expect my order before Xmas but it was ordered on Sunday afternoon and delivery was on Tuesday morning, how can you beat this?
Warwick
Product not used as yet, but the product was well packaged and received in good condition. Based on the information I have gleaned from other sources this Slide Scanner appears to be one of the best currently available.
Cwmbran
Very easy to use no problems in installing.
Hayling Island
An excellent unit, slightly let down by the wslide carriers
Redruth
Just loaded software and put in a few slides. No problems so far. The explanation for the loading of the software could have been clearer but I got there fairly quickly. My slides are nearly 40 years old so the colours have faded a bit on some of them and we're spoiled with the amazing quality of modern digital images but my old Canon SLR camera didn't do a bad job. Slide tray a bit fiddley but it does take plastic slide cases as well as card. Overall, a very good product I'd say.
Morpeth
have no hang ups with this product simple to setup and use
Clevedon
A very good product that is easy to use and gives good results.
Horsted Keynes

It did the job i ordered it to do
St Leonards on Sea
an A1 transaction, thankyou.
Castle Cary
Struggles a bit with some darker shots, but very good with flash or sunlight and easy to install and use
Boston
Okay, but takes a long time to settle in to focus the lighting levels on each slide
Ripon
very good product easy to install software and works first time
Warwick
fast efficient service
Plymouth
The auto exposure adjustment grossly over-exposes. I can overcome by 'breaking-in' to the increasingly over-exposed sequence of scanning. The 'Troubleshooting' section suggests that I must be patient and wait for the scanner to complete its scan - if I did that, I'd have grossly overexposed scans of my slides. I suspect there is an adjustment somewhere and must 'phone for help. But, it is good value for money.
Prescot
Very happy with my Slide Scanner, although I purchased it some time ago I have only recently started to use it.
Havant
initial problems with the software side - this MAY be due to a conflict with other programmes on computer; the machine worked satisfactorily but have not had much time to actually really test it - my impression is that it will be ok. pleased with the prompt service in despatching to me
Reading
negatives scan o.k. but slides are dissapointing
Tarporley
A very good product.Only drawback is that it over exposes some slides taken in bright sunlight such as light buildings or beach scenes. these cannot be corrected by editing.
Bedford
Have found this very useful. Thank you for your help - would certainly look on your website again for anything else that I require.
Stroud
Generally produced good images, which I could improve once on the computer. I could not fault any part of customer services.
Somerton
only a qick try out so far but seems fine and will do what I want it to!
Reading
Unit was a lot slower in operation than I expected. It does however get ther in the end
Haltwhistle
Has worked perfectly, you lose a little of the Quality, but I expected that. Very Impressed. Couldnt be better.
Richmond
This piece of equipment has brought old memories back to life again. I was kept informed at all times as to my purchase.
Sheffield
No doubt very suitable for many users with thin cardboard-mounted slides but the slide tray did not accomodate thicker Agfa frames, which mine mostly are. Telephone staff accepted return in a friendly, helpful and apologetic manner. Gave me confidence to buy from you again Website was easy to navigate and attractive.
Sandy
The description reads well but I have not been able to download the software to use it yet.
Winsford
I wanted something specifically. I found it quickly and the ordering process was efficient. You kept me in touch when you couldn't deliver straight away.
Rushden
I am transfering slides i took in 1969, concidering the age of the film they look very good on my computer. the first time i have used this site. it won't be the last. A very good all round service. many thanks
Yarm
Not had time to fully test it out so far. Impressively fast compared with what I had before. Looks good on B&W negatives, need to get to grips with colour balance from slides. Very prompt delivery!
Dunblane
Easy to use. Fast. Simple. Would definitely recommend.
Horsham
Great little scanner for home use, could be improved if there were a switch for the light to make it brighter or dimmer according to the exposure of the slide/negative.
